I’ve loved the book “The Little Prince” since studying it in school in grade 7. During my masters in Jazz Performance at U of T, I wrote a seven-movement suite for a band composed of a string quartet combined with my jazz quintet Circles. In May 2016, I presented a re-worked version at a Spectrum Music concert in conjunction with the Alliance Française de Toronto. This album is a live recording of that concert. Two versions are available: one with the original french narration, and a second with English narration overdubbed.
